Since the early 1900s, there have been numerous unexplained disappearances and deaths in national parks and wilderness areas and in the absence of reasonable explanations, attention has turned to the possibility that these incidents may be connected to a large, ape-like, bipedal hominid commonly referred to as Bigfoot or Sasquatch, which is reputed to inhabit isolated forests around the world.

Don't remember if that was in VA, NC area.
